About Form Follows Function

A design journal in the Bauhaus tradition. Geometry, color, and honest materials.

The project

Form Follows Function is a quiet protest against design-as-decoration. We believe the best objects are honest about their materials, generous to their users, and accountable to the people who made them. This is a journal for designers who still believe that.

What we stand for

Primary forms

Circle, square, triangle. Red, blue, yellow. The basic grammar of visual language.

Material honesty

Steel looks like steel. Wood looks like wood. Pixels look like pixels.

Design for everyone

Not just for the wealthy, not just for the technically literate.
